The bent shovel 20cm is based on the classical shovel but its sides are curved upwards making it perfect for lifting and moving loose material such as coal, gravel, soil or sand. The edges of the shovel can also be used to scrape hard soils. As such, this variation on the classical shovel is used often in regions with a lot of rain to dig watering trenches and in archeological sites.
